How To Cook Japanese RICE?

There are many types of rice in the world.And we Japanese eat Japonica rice...short,round and sticky. In U.K. such rice is called "SUSHI RICE". 

This time I'll show you the easiest way to cook it. If you can cook it, you can make sushi by your self!   (I'll show you beautiful rice ball-onigiri,flower sushi... next time.)

Japanese rice 2 cup 


Wash with cold water 4 times. 

1 pour clean water and whisk till water will be   white throw away the water 
2 pour clean water and whisk...
3 same
4 same…that’s it!
 

 
  
after washing, pour clean water again. water level is about 1cm over the rice.Then leave 1 hour.









Put a lid on and boil it over high heat about 12min...ideally, some water left over the rice.

Then remove the pot from the heat quickly and leave it for 15 minutes.
